About Schutze Custom Builders, LLC

Schutze Custom Builders was established in 2016 with over 14 years of working with another local custom home builder, Scott Schutze has strong builders' knowledge with a focus on communication, delivering a quality product to customer, and problem solving as needed. We have been a part of countless new construction and remodel project throughout Southwest Michigan.

We welcome collaborating with architects and designers, and customer so we can help deliver a quality product that the customer will enjoy for years to come. Schutze Custom Builders clients will benefit from working with a local general contractor who has an established relationship with a team of local professionals and vendors to have superior end product.

Having been born and raise in the area on a local dairy farm, Scott Schutze has a work ethic that is hard to find. Having started in construction at the age of 17, he has worked his way up through the trade and knows all that goes into the building process, from digging a foundation, to framing a complicated roof, and installing the finishing touches to your custom home at the end of the project.
